How to Report Your Student's Attendance
Options for Reporting Your Student's Absence (All schools except Lakeville North and Lakeville South)
Parents/guardians have two options for submitting absence, late arrival and early leave requests for their student(s)--directly through Infinite Campus Parent Portal OR by emailing the school's attendance email. We encourage parents/guardians to submit absence through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, as it is a convenient process designed to streamline the attendance reporting process and minimize any attendance errors.
Please only report your student's absence, late arrival or early leave using ONE of the methods listed below.

Lakeville North High School and Lakeville South High School parents/guardians have two options for submitting absence, late arrival and early leave requests for their student(s)--directly through Infinite Campus Parent Portal OR by calling their school directly. We encourage parents/guardians to submit absence through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, as it is a convenient process designed to streamline the attendance reporting process and minimize any attendance errors.

When a student is absent for any reason, the parent is expected to notify the school by email (preferred) at OHEattendance@isd194.org or by phone at 952-232-2519. Please provide your child’s name, teacher’s name, grade level, and reason for the absence.
Bus Information
Our bus service is provided by Schmitty & Sons, for more information on their services, or to contact the bus garage, please call 952-985-7513 or visit their Schmitty & Sons Website.
Visitor Information
When visiting Oak Hills Elementary, please use our Visitor Security System. This system allows students, families, staff, and community members to visit our schools and help ensure a safe and secure environment for all. If you plan to visit during the school day, please bring your state-issued ID, such as your driver’s license to swipe upon entrance. You must have a state issued ID to check your student out of school.
There are four steps:
- Push the white button.
- Hold the back of your State-issued ID to the bar code reader.
- Proceed to the School Office and pick-up your printed badge and display during your visit.
- Hold your ID bar code to the reader on your way out to check out of the building.

School Hours
Arrival Time: 8:40 a.m.
Start Time: 8:50 a.m.
Dismissal: 3:20 p.m.
Buses Leave: 3:25 p.m.
Arrival and Departure
Students will be welcomed into school when the 8:40 am bell rings. Students will not be allowed on our campus before 8:40 am due to lack of adult supervision. If parents are dropping students off, they must keep their child in their car until the 8:40 bell rings. For students who ride the bus, when the first bus arrives, students may enter the building and proceed to their classrooms. Due to the many end of day procedures our office staff must attend to, we would request if parents are picking their child up early from school that they please do that BEFORE 3 pm. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
